    Ntrepid is seeking a Director level product engineering lead, to head up a newly formed product family focused on mobile products.  This position will be leading some of the newest product teams in the company and provides an opportunity to provide direction to a growing set of products in the company.

    Responsibilities

    This position will be responsible for providing overall direction to two product teams.  The director will work closely with Product management, Sales/Business Development to provide technical solutions for our customers.  This position will coordinate with Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, Security and Operations to ensure successful delivery of new product capabilities.  They will also work to adopt common approaches across product teams.

    Qualifications

    Technical - Required

    • U.S. Citizenship Required
    • Must be able to obtain/maintain a security clearance
    • Bachelors or higher in computer science or similar (flexible with this requirement for corresponding experience), Master degree desired
    • Minimum 10 years of experience running product engineering teams
    • Experience with Agile methodologies and practices is required
    • Experience developing products for the National Security and/or Law enforcement verticals
    • Experience working with Executive level stake holders
    • Experience building successful product development teams
    • Understanding of cellular network architectures and authentication mechanisms
    • Knowledge of mobile OS architectural and security concepts (specifically Android)
    • Experience with iOS or Android development, preferably both
    • Experience with REST Service architecture
    • Experience with modern CI/CD approaches
    • Experience with GIT is required
    • Must be familiar with applications and systems security principles
    • Must be familiar with basic networking principles
    • Knowledge of task and bug tracking tools such as Bugzilla or JIRA
    • Must understand and apply pros/cons of various technologies without bias
    • Demonstrated willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills required

    • Experience running multiple product teams and driving adoption of common approaches
