  • Overview

    Ntrepid Corporation is looking for a Mid-level Technical Writer to join our Technical Documentation team! This role is primarily responsible for the creation and maintenance of all internal and customer facing knowledge base articles. The successful candidate will create knowledge base articles for our product and engineering teams. The Tech Writer should possess strong organizational and communication skills, particularly in writing, and will work closely with the product managers, technical writers, and engineers.

    Responsibilities

    • Acquire working knowledge and understanding of the Ntrepid product line
    • Understand customer requirements and customer level of adoption of Ntrepid products
    • Develop clear and concise knowledge base articles for engineers and end users
    • Communicate and share knowledge with product teams and technical writers
    • Participate in Technical Documentation meetings and other support meetings
    • Work closely with technical writers to develop and organize user stories in JIRA utilizing the Agile method

    Qualifications

    • U.S. Citizenship required
    • Must be eligible to obtain/maintain a security clearance
    • B.S. or B.A. College Degree required
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Technical Writing and/or similar occupation, 3-4 years preferred
    • Strong project organization skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate and work with engineers, technical writers, and product managers
    • Knowledge of enterprise level businesses and software development
    • Service Cloud, Remedyforce, and/or Atlassian tools
    • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
    • Experience documenting knowledge base articles
    • Experience working in an Agile environment
