    We are seeking a security-focused, network security engineer, to help design, implement, and maintain our growing corporate network and security infrastructure. This person will be part of a cross-disciplined team of IT professionals, that work collaboratively to integrate network and security tools, exercise best security practices, and drive favorable network and security.

    Responsibilities

    • Network Devices – Configure, install, and maintain various network and security technologies (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless, Telephony, VPN, NAC, and DDoS solutions)
    • Non-Network Devices & Systems – Have the ability to Install, configure, tune, manage, and monitor security systems, such as Host-based security systems, SIEM tools, etc.
    • Operating Systems – Deploy and administer Linux and Windows systems, as needed, to support security operations
    • Investigate intrusion incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and lead incident response cycles
    • Provide technical expertise for security incident response program assisting in containment and network forensics
    • Help manage the Security organization’s Hypervisors’, VMs’, Images’, Deployments’
    • Perform network maintenance and system upgrade/patching
    • Monitor performance and resources to ensure system availability, reliability, and capacity
    • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
    • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues

    Qualifications

    • U.S. Citizenship required
    • Active Security Clearance is desired
    • Bachelor’s or higher in technology, security, or a related field
    • 8+ years of professional and relevant experience
    • Solid networking experience with firewalls, routers, switches, IPS/IDS, URL filtering, packet brokers, traffic spanning/tapping and aggregation
    • Expertise in IDS/IPS, firewalls and content filtering
    • Expertise in designing secure networks, systems and application architectures
    • Linux administration experience, preferably Ubuntu and CentOS, with expert knowledge of the Linux Command Line Interface
    • Windows administration and server hardening experience
    • Experience and examples of scripting and/or programming with Python, Perl, PHP, PowerShell, etc. 
    • Experience with Palo Alto and Juniper SRX firewalls
    • Experience with Aruba Wireless, VPN, and NAC products
    • Experience with Cisco telephony, routing, and switching products
    • Experience with Splunk
    • Experience with AWS
    • Knowledge of Ansible and Docker a plus
    • NIST and CIS compliance experience is a plus
